Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar: Boston, Massachusetts
Opening their second location right on the water in Fort Point, Boston, Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar is a bold and stylish restaurant serving up new Mexican cuisine, along with desserts and a full bar. Bringing in bold colors, hand painted wall murals and flashy accents, Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar has distinct style. Working directly with Lolita's development and management team, DeMejico was able to add in our restaurant furniture pieces through a mix of inspiration photos provided by the team paired with some of our most popular design styles.
Our biggest addition to Lolita is a product that was custom created just for this space.
Working with inspiration photos while staying true to our DeMejico style, our team was able to create the Spanish Colonial Chair.
A custom version of a very traditional Mexican chair, the Spanish Colonial Chair is hand carved from solid mesquite wood. Featuring a strong base with subtle curved details along the front of the legs and above the backrest, this chair is upholstered with an authentic leather seat and backrest. The final touches that finish off these chairs are the small, hand pounded iron clavos along the leather’s edges.
Inspired by our popular Conquista Style, our next additions to Lolita come in the form of accent tables.
With smooth travertine tops and hand carved bases, these accent tables have just the right amount of distinct detail to fit in, but not overpower the rest of the restaurant's bold style; perfect especially when sitting next a bold and colorful, hand painted wall mural.
Now, what Spanish Style inspired restaurant would be complete without Spanish lighting?
Our next additions to this bold and beautiful restaurant space are several of the numerous lighting fixtures.
Focusing mainly on the wall sconces, Lolita chose to go with our extremely popular Forja Sconce along with a few of our Forja Triple Sconces.
All completely hand forged of course, these Spanish iron wall sconces stand out on the beautiful red brick walls of the restaurant.
