Madison Club Custom Homes: La Quinta, CA
This project takes place in the Madison Club Custom Homes of La Quinta, California. Throughout the architecture of this limited custom residence, Demejico has furnished many areas from custom rustic doors, entry doors and gates, to lighting fixtures, to bathroom vanities.
The incorporation of alder wood, along with hand pounded and forged iron, contributed to the authentic Spanish feel that the architect envisioned for this beautiful residence above the Tom Fazio golf course at the Madison Club.
The collaboration of each of the custom Spanish vanities and Spanish style doors give this home the textures of an old world feel, while the hand wrought iron details of the lighting fixtures and accents are able to brighten up the space bringing an overall warmth.
The first additions to the Madison Club Villas are the entry doors. Made from solid alder wood, this door features hand shaped paneled squares on both sides, hand pounded iron studs, and two solid iron door handles with a twisted design.
With a lighter finish, the second door that leads in and out of the garage, showcases the beautiful knots and stretches of its alder wood. This door features dual paneling accented by hand pounded iron clavos.
The next door addition is an interior door that leads to a wine closet. This alder wood paneled door is combined with a glass window protected by a unique hand-forged wrought iron piece. Behind this door, we have installed multiple shelving systems, focusing mainly on wine storage.
The next installation is a series of glass doors that lead to the backyard and outside areas. These custom doors are all made from solid alder wood, finished with a dark stain, and each feature multi paneled glass.
For the interior of this home, we have furnished multiple lighting fixtures throughout the rooms, as well as also installing another unique piece to the main living space. This piece is a fireplace mantle made from solid alder wood that features hand carved designs.
In this custom home, we have furnished multiple bathrooms with vanities, mirrors, and lighting.
The first vanity we have installed is a double sink system made from solid alder wood with a smooth travertine top. This seven-drawer, four-cabinet vanity is complete with hand pounded iron clavos and hand-forged iron hardware. Above this vanity is a small sconce light fixture, also made from hand-forged iron hardware, as well as two mirrors made with the same materials to match.
The next vanity we have installed is another double sink system also made from solid alder wood, with a smooth travertine top. This vanity features a square panel design with four drawers and three cabinets under each sink, complete with iron hardware.
This Alamo style vanity is made from solid alder wood and features hand pounded iron accents and hardware. This five-drawer, two cabinet vanity features double sinks and a smooth travertine top. It is complimented by a matching mirror also made with solid alder wood.
For the final bathroom in this home, we have added another Alamo style vanity and matching mirror. This vanity and mirror are hand carved from solid alder wood and feature hand pounded iron accents. The vanity is complete with hand-forged iron hardware, a smooth travertine top, and glass sinks.
The kitchen area is one of the biggest installations in this Madison Club home. In the kitchen area, we have fully furnished all of the kitchen cabinets, the refrigerator doors, a mini-fridge area, and an island in the center, with smooth travertine countertops. All of these pieces are made from solid aged alder wood and feature hand-forged iron hardware.
The next additions to both the interior and exterior of this Madison Club home are the beautiful sets of rails and handrails. These all-custom rails are each made from hand-forged wrought iron, and feature intricate designs and scrolls to give an authentic Spanish touch. These rails and handrails create beautiful focal points to the exterior of this home.
Another one of the main additions to this Madison Club home are the all-custom garage doors and entry gates as well as the outdoor lighting fixtures. These two sets of garage doors are made from solid alder wood and each feature a multi-panel design.
To finish off the look of the first set, we have added hand-forged wrought iron handles and four classic lighting fixtures on both sides of each door.
To finish off the look of the second garage door, we have added hand pounded iron accents as well as two large sconce lighting fixtures.
The final installations to this Madison Club custom home are the all-custom entry gates made from durable wrought iron.
The first set of gates is a two-gate entry system that features intricate hand-forged details and twisted handles. With these entry gates, we have also added another two of the same classic lighting fixtures seen on the first set of garage doors.
The second gate also features wrought iron that has been hand-forged and twisted to create the bars of the gate. Above this gate, is a unique arched light fixture, created to compliment the Spanish feel of the home.
We have also added another one of these arched light fixtures to another entryway of the home.
