La Fonda Hotel: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Located at the historic Santa Fe Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the La Fonda Hotel is one of our favorite custom Spanish commercial interior projects. Our additions to the La Fonda Hotel bring in authentic Spanish and Old World charm to the already present, New Mexico style.
Featuring elements such as skylights, terracotta tile and hammered tin chandeliers, La Fonda’s outdoor patio is a popular place for guests to enjoy a meal, relax and socialize. As the space was ready to be re-vamped, Demejico and La Fonda were able to work closely together to develop and design one-of-a-kind pieces.
From start to finish, our expert sales and design consultant, Maria, met with La Fonda and their team to discuss the best way to create their vision of bringing in authentic Spanish design, while still staying true to La Fonda’s Southwest Spanish decor.
Custom created for this space, the chairs for this patio were designed with a light and open breezy feel to complement the hotel's classic, Southwestern architecture.
Made from solid mesquite wood and featuring hand-dyed vintage leathers, these chairs have been mixed and matched at each of the small tables for vibrant pops of color present throughout the entire space.
Constructed with the highest quality, these chairs are built to last as guests come and go through this historic hotel.
Along with the hotel's corridors, this outdoor patio has been additionally furnished with fabric-upholstered chairs and multi-seat benches. From top to bottom, these chairs and benches are inspired by classic Spanish design elements, but with a bold and fun, New Mexico twist.
Fitting the flair of the rest of the hotel, these chairs and benches enhance the present color schemes with a variety of bright and vibrant multicolored and multi-pattern fabrics.
Fitting La Fonda's Southwestern architectural design, Demejico was proud to complete this commercial interior with custom armoire, console and bench accent pieces.
